Climb with us on a new route to the summit!

Village education project Kilimanjaro

A climb up Kilimanjaro for a local charity is due to set off in October of this year. Four people - Gavin Bose and friends Joe Sharples, Pete Higgins, and Lorraine Richards - will be attempting to climb the Machame Route for the local charity Village Education Project Kilimanjaro. The aim of the charity, whose motto is Elimu ni uhai (’Education is Life’), is to improve the education standards of those living in the Kilimanjaro region; it’s sponsor, somewhat bizarrely, is Dame Judi Dench.
