Is Mr Cangiano the oldest Canadian to climb Kilimanjaro?

I’ve just received an email from a Mr Donald Cangiano who successfully climbed Kilimanjaro in 2005. Nothing unusual in that of course, though his age at the time of summitting, 71, is certainly noteworthy. Mr Cangiano’s email was a simple one: is he the oldest Canadian ever to climb Kilimanjaro? Unfortunately, due to the less that perfect record keeping by the Kilimanjaro National Park Authorities (KINAPA), it’s really impossible to answer that question. However, if there are any Canadians out there who have also climbed Kilimanjaro, and were older than Don at the time of their ascent, then I’d love to hear from you. So at least we can help Don to find out whether he is, indeed, the oldest Canadian ever to climb Africa’s highest mountain.
