Website to be relaunched

In the next couple of weeks this website is due to be relaunched. This is partly because of pressure from readers who have rightly been telling me how unwieldy it is, partly because I myself have been unhappy with its layout, and partly to make room on the site for the new services that we will be offering, such as the chance to join one of our pioneering climbs up a new route on Kilimanjaro. The site was OK when hardly anybody visited, but now that the visitor numbers are growing, we are going to need a new site.

In the meantime, we’d be grateful if you could bear with us for the next week or so and put up with this existing design. We will still be putting the latest Kilimanjaro news on this site until the new one is launched (which will still be on this address). Nearer to the launch there may also be occasions when the efficiency or ‘useability’ of the site will be impaired, for which we both apologise in advance and promise that we will try to keep such glitches to a minimum.

Thanks for your patience - believe me, it will be better for all of us when the new site is up and running!
