Itineraries

The following pages contain details of the day-to-day itineraries of the treks  we offer.Note, however, that, as explained on the Unique Rongai Route page, we have decided not to print an itinerary of that trek online, to prevent competitors from copying. However, when you book yourself on a Unique Rongai treks you will receive a complete itinerary detailing the route.

Please note that the itineraries given below are slightly flexible - so, for example, if you wish to shorten the Machame Route by a day by not stopping in the Karanga Valley, this can be arranged and the price of the trek will reduce to take into account the fact you will be spending one less day on the mountain. Note, however, that you must tell us if you wish to deviate from these itineraries as soon as possible so that we can re-arrange the porters/crew etc.

In addition to the itineraries below, you may also wish to read the more background, general guide to each of the routes given in the Practical Information section of this website, which should provide a useful introduction to the paths and help you decide which one is for you. Our guidebook contains further details and maps of each of the routes.
