The trekking schedule: 2011/12 (to date)

The following table shows our climbing schedule for 2011 along with the price to join each trek. These are the treks that we have booked so far with Team Kilimanjaro (TK). As mentioned elsewhere, the prices are cheaper than if you actually booked directly with Team Kilimanjaro. Note, too, that the prices given are for one or two people joining a trek; for three or more people the price is lower - please write to us and we’ll inform you of the price you will actually pay. (Basically, the more people you can get to trek with you, the cheaper the price will be!)

What if the dates on which I wish to trek are not listed in the table below?

If there are two or more of you, we can arrange a trek for whatever dates you want, and on whatever route you want - for the same price as if you had joined one of the scheduled treks below (and, again, if there are three or more of you it will actually be cheaper than the prices advertised below). Please note that, unless you specify that you want a private trek, we will try to add other trekkers to your party by advertising your climb on this page.

How to book

Simply choose the trek you want to join, then send us an email informing us of your wishes. We will then send you a Trek Booking Form on behalf of Team Kilimanjaro, then once we receive this we will send you a second form - the Hotel Booking Form - so we can sort out your hotel accommodation for before and after the trek and your airport transfers (that are included in the package).Once this is sorted out - as well as any safaris, accommodation on Zanzibar or other service that we can book for you - we will ask you to pay a deposit of US$250 per person (that we will pass to Team Kilimanjaro) to confirm the booking - and that’s it. It’s as simple as that!

Once we have received this deposit payment we’ll then send you a complimentary copy of our guidebook, and will liaise with you right up until the start of the trek, in order to make sure you are prepared and ready for your adventure. Simple, eh?

NOTES:

1) Treks are provided by Team Kilimanjaro for whom we act as a disclosed agent..

2) Dates: The first set of dates in the list below includes accommodation before and after the trek; the second set of dates (‘trekking dates’) is the time spent actually on the mountain

3) Prices listed are for one or two people joining the trek. It is also the price if two people want a private trek (where they can choose the exact date they want to start their trek, and the route they wish to take on the mountain. Discounts are available for three or more people (whether joining a trek or wanting a private trek of their own).

4) Rates are subject to TANAPA Park Fee increases without significant prior notice.

5) These rates refer to a fully inclusive package with two nights accommodation on a B&B basis, airport transfers etc. You can find out exactly what is and isn’t included by following this link.
