Look who made it to the top of Kilimanjaro this week!
Matt Grant, Chris Reynolds, Lee Angel, Sian Isaac, John Taylor, Annaliese Taylor, Duncan Hawkes and Ben Thomas (all UK), reached the summit at 7am on 30 May 2012 via the Rongai Route. They have so far raised more than £38K(!) for two charities. The Ian Rennie Hospice at Home and Helen and Douglas’ House, chosen because John lost a son and daughter (and Annaliese a sister and brother) to degenerative conditions. It was also John’s 50th birthday at the summit.
That’s an incredible amount of money and a great effort -
